1. Late Seating

Should you arrive late to the theater or vacate your seat during the performance, please expect to be held in the lobby until an appropriate pause in the action on-stage.  To minimize disturbance to other patrons, you may be sat into the first available location by the house staff even if different from your assigned seat.  Be advised that some productions or circumstances may not allow for late seating.  To ensure you enjoy the performance in your assigned seat, please arrive at the theater early.

Frequently Asked Questions about Subscription Ticket Exchanges

Do you charge a fee to exchange tickets?
There are no fees associated with subscriber exchange requests.  However, if you are exchanging into a more expensive performance, you will be responsible for the difference in ticket cost.

How late can I exchange my tickets?
We prefer that ticket exchange requests are made at least 24 hours prior to the date of the performance printed on your ticket.  Please note that exchanges can only be done within the same run of the show of your original tickets.  Ticket exchanges are subject to availability.

Why do you prefer 24 hours notice?
Time is needed to process your request as well as to re-circulate the seats.

Can I be guaranteed that I will get my same seats?
Unfortunately, the constraints of seating volume do not allow the Geffen to guarantee seat location. When transacting an exchange, the Box Office staff will do their utmost to find the best seats available.

Why am I paying more for my exchanged tickets?
The Geffen’s ticket pricing structure varies depending on day and time of performance and seating location. You may be requesting a new show date with the only seating available in a higher pricing structure than your original subscription.

Unfortunately, the Geffen cannot offer a refund for exchanging higher priced tickets for less expensive tickets.
