Tasting great wine is the pre-show menu Sunday evenings at the Geffen. Complimentary wine tasting provided by a boutique winery takes place in the Geffen's lobby and is bathed in beautiful, relaxing music from Rendezvous Entertainment, providing a collection of chart-topping #1 hits featuring the biggest songs from the biggest stars in Smooth Jazz.

Victor and Jennifer Abascal began their foray into the wine business in 2004 when they purchased a near perfect piece of Westside Paso Robles. What began as Victor's dream became a reality. After several years as a home winemaker, Victor took on the challenge of becoming a commercial winemaker and viticulturist. Vines on the Marycrest is the result of a love of wine, hard work and a vision. We hope you enjoy the handcrafted wines from their old Zinfandel vines and their award-winning Rhone blends. A beautiful 2400 square foot winery and tasting room/concert facility are breaking ground in late 2008.

TALK BACK TUESDAYS

If you crave stimulating conversation after a play, our Tuesday night series is for you.

Pre-show tastings of coffee and tea are offered compliments of Peet's Coffee and Tea. Post-show, Geffen artists come out on stage and take questions from the audience. It's a good chance to dig deeper into plot, character and themes and go home completely energized.

GIRLS NIGHT OUT

Select Thursday Evenings

Grab a few friends and get together at the Geffen Playhouse for some theater and a little post-party fun. Geared towards the ladies with enticements for the guys, Girls Night Out at the Geffen is a series of one-night only, festive events following a main stage performance. All post-show parties offer complimentary, signature Lotus Vodka cocktails, Peroni Beer and appetizers. All post-show parties are included in the single ticket price.

LOUNGE FRIDAYS

Select Friday Evenings

SAVANNAH and the Geffen Playhouse have teamed up to provide a relaxing alternative for fast-paced Angelenos to ease into their weekend by launching a series of select Friday night gatherings where guests can feel like a VIP without the added expense.

LOUNGE Friday evenings at the Geffen Playhouse will feature SAVANNAH's savory culinary creations and hip cocktails to be served in the Geffen's pre-show lounge while listening to the best of contemporary music.

Guaranteed to start your night off right, SAVANNAH will provide the same quality in the Geffen lounge that they do in their nearest location in the Westfield Shopping Center, Century City.
